Ryuichi Sakamoto's single "GT" is being reissued on colored vinyl.

Tracklist:
SIDE-A: GT
SIDE-B: Parolibre

"GT," originally released as a single from the 1986 album "Futuristic Guys," is being reissued on colored vinyl.
"GT" is an abbreviation of "Grand Turismo," which means "Grand Tour" in Italian, and as the title suggests, it's a fast-paced, danceable electric funk tune. The vocals are by Bernard Fowler, a member of the group "NYC Peech Boys," produced by legendary NY DJ Larry Levan, and also known for his work as a backing vocalist for the Rolling Stones.
"Parolibre," included on side B, is in contrast to "GT," being a piano-driven piece reminiscent of Chopin's preludes, with vocals by Kaori Kano and guitar by Arto Lindsay. It is one of Ryuichi Sakamoto's representative works, which has continued to be performed by piano trios and as a piano soloist. The remastering was handled by Heba Kadry, who also worked on the analog reissue of "Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence," released in 2024.
